Giverny

Would you like to discover the impressionist village? Paris Balade takes you by vintage car to the village where Claude Monnet lived between 1883 and 1926. The house where the famous painter lived awaits you with its beautiful gardens. A great perfectionist, Monnet even diverted a part of the Epte to provide water for a pond crossed by a Japanese bridge.

At the time, seven gardeners were full-time maintenance workers. One of the gardeners was even in charge of removing the raindrops on the water lilies!

You will have 2h30 of free visit on site that will allow you to discover the Claude Monet foundation and the Museum of Impressionism.
